Following SWG's (now WTF) 2nd betrayal, BAT is growing well again with help from our 2499 members, a mermaid and ally PHI. Apparently we're harbouring a fugitive, but I consider it an internal PHI matter and we always take care of our friends.
Without our big whale Victor who promised to do whatever it takes to win castle battles, it seems the writing is on the wall for this kingdom. We're losing castle battles, but it's volatile so anything could happen. Kingdom transfer opens in 3 days, so watch this space.

BAT are currently ranked top 3, but we're so close to #1 it's basically joint first. A rogue R4 in our sister alliance SIN lead to their downfall, and put a spanner in the works of our big plan. BAT therefore did an emergency merge with SIN before the vultures poached all our members. The rogue member is also a good friend of ours, who didn't realise he was stealing a BAT academy 😂. Upon discussion with him, he kindly suggested to give BAT all of the members in our 2nd academy (which he is now R5 of and renamed JUS) and start from scratch, but we decided to let him keep them given we're full already and to maintain a good relationship. Besides, BAT still have 5 alliances in this kingdom which is more than enough 😂😅. Our next move is to merge our main academy with SIN, which will become our new main academy.
The battle for individual #1 has subsided with the arrival of a genuine whale in TR7 alliance - we estimate he dropped $30k in the space of a week. The dolphins share mixed feelings - they surrender the top spot, but also welcome the whale's arrival for the benefit of the Kingdom. The first castle battle happens soon, with all to play for.
Some NAP members have a habit of rage quitting NAP when expectations are not met, then re-joining soon after 😂. Patience is a virtue they say, and BAT remain reliable. Ahmiii did a great job covering for me whilst I was away in China with intermittent internet. At least we have a democracy for now, unlike 2224. Whilst TR7's Ryan did a good job for the past 2 weeks as NAP admin, we welcome RUL's Fraylena to the post who has already concluded 2 important votes on sanctuaries and the castle.

We welcome friends from 2351 to our discord, called upon by BAT captain Andri. The current topic of discussion is rats, for unknown reasons.
BAT in general
Alliance identity has been at the crux of issues in both Kingdoms, and with hindsight we realise that keeping the [BAT] tag is extremely important for shared identity and cross Kingdom cooperation. This is why the [BAT] tag will now remain indefinitely in any future merger scenarios. We have over 400 members in total, so there's no need to change our tag anyway. We learn from our mistakes.
For our future, all options remain on the table, depending on the situation in a few months:
- Transfer between our 2 kingdoms
- Join forces and transfer to a completely different kingdom (perhaps 2351)
- Remain in both kingdoms
- Another merge or 2 😅
Regardless of what we do, BAT culture remains: We don't care too much about the complex details and game mechanics, compared with keeping the jokes flowing and a fun vibrant gaming community. Happy BATs are active BATs after all.
