Brief periods of stability followed by chaos. This sums up the past week or so hahaha. I believe a dash of chaos is beneficial for any company, it keeps you on your toes and ready for the unexpected. That said, there's been some significant changes in our Kingdom.
Mergers
HOT and THE merged together as THE, but it didn't work out. I think most NAP members were sad about this result. Regardless, BAT took over as HOT leader whilst we worked out what to do with it. We had just finished merging with LGD, when the proposal arrived at the BAT Cave. But before long, I was receiving reports of poaching (I suppose they could argue HOT was no longer in NAP after the name change from THE, but c'mon bruv that's weak 😂).
I quickly consulted with a few of our R4s, before deciding to absorb HOT into the BAT community, and look after Jon and Barbie's members. Merger's are always hard work, and this was no exception. If you don't move fast, members panic leave or get poached. Poaching is bound to happen, and rarely is anything done about it. It's the same in other kingdoms - it's just not easy to prove. I wonder if it's even a rule worth keeping since players stay with what they like anyway.
NAP
Or what's left of it. After news broke of our 4th merger, some NAP members rage quit accusing BAT of taking over the whole server with some voodoo magic. I wasn't quite sure about the reasoning, but I can assure everyone that it wasn't part of BAT's plan at all. We did, however, consider HOT and THE allies, and spoke frequently with each other. We were happy to help out.
2499 Discord
I created a new server for our NAP members to chill out in and share their reports. Fake Carbily is still doing the rounds annoying people, so it's a good place to record evidence. NAP violations continue, especially during the All Out event, and poaching is rife. Once NAP settles down, and we quit creating new NAP groups out of rage, NAP enforcement will begin. For the good of our Kingdom 😂.
BAT Cave Academy.
Next, someone asked what we're going to do with our extra academy. I sighed and thought here we go again. Sure enough, I discovered THE had become HOT's academy and still had 50 active members. So I reached out to The Academy and was relieved to discover a BAT member was already R5 of it. We were then fairly easily able to transfer members to our new stronger academy, formerly HOT. It left us with a Main Alliance, 1 full academy and 2 or 3 farms. Our Academy members earn the right to play for our main alliance, BAT Cave.
Dolphins
Relatively speaking, there's still no whales in sight but an increase in dolphins which is good. Nearby Kingdoms have top players with up to 3x us, but nothing more than that. LTH, which seems to be a Thai alliance, now has the strongest player, a pretty cool dude called DomeDog.
The Future
Whatever will be will be, the future's not ours to see. But here's to a peaceful Kingdom where we work together against other Kingdoms 🍺
